Game was BORING!
Not a single long pass attempt. Even in the last few seconds of the game. Not sure what La Police was thinking but good lord, at least try ONCE to score to tie the game...

Watched some on TSN, typical Toronto Sport Network broadcasting, all Argo talk. It is getting a bit aggravating, I could deal with CBC HNIC being basically a Leaf broadcast station on Saturday night but really now we have to listen to TSN spew the same drivel about Toronto. As for the game, what I saw was typical of pre season, so there is hope for the Bomber, albeit slim. QB position is up for grabs in my opinion,Pierce looked quite rusty after his injury/recovery.

Although they have done a GREAT job covering the Jets return to Winnipeg.

I didn't see the game, but I've been listening to people tell me about it.
Who was in the game from the Bombers though? Was it a "starting line"? or were they mostly newbies to the team...and LaPolice was trying to "test" them a bit?
Are there still cuts to be made? Were the players on the field supposed to be fighting for a position on the team?
IMHO...if those players are the "dream team" that was put together...then yeah...they really need some work. But if those were all "tryout players"...then they didn't do too bad...holding their own against TO. From what I heard...aside from a fluke play at the end by TO...it would've ended tied...which then most people would be saying how there's real promise this year.

It was mostly starters, with top prospects added in. There were something like 71 players dressed. It was also the team testing both players and plays. Typical training camp/exhibition game.
I will be much more concerned if they look like that in the season opener.

Very aggressive play calling, especially the 3rd and 3" in the 2nd quarter when they kicked a field goal. lol
Must have been to try out a new kicker?
The TV coverage I would rate as a 1 out of 20, when compared to the NFL?
When a team was kicking a field goal, the TV camera was 130 yards away on the wrong side of the field.
The tracking of plays was very amateurish in my opinion. Very hard to watch from a quality point of coverage.
