this could be true.. but you have to remember, they are business people out to make as much money as possible, as they should be. Government People who dont understand that need to shoulder a good chunk of the blame.

Could have sworn Dave Asper said that he was putting in his own money. What changed, I wonder?

His fortune has zip to do with the loss of Canwest, by the way.

Maybe he didn't want to take on the risk, given that the Elms shopping district looks iffy.

There are those who believe David never intended on using any of his own money in the first place.

After recent revelations, I'm having a harder time suspending my own disbelief in that theory.

There is no problem with the building- Mayor Katz in an interview today, was perfectly clear that it will be built, and will be a "world Class" stadium and will be more beautiful than the Museum and "his" baseball stadium, which was hampered by having to deal with a bunch of bureaucrats from idiotic governments! lol

I blame rosencrentz. If it weren't for his constant babbling, nonsense posts with which he bombards on websites such as these, then the politicians that read what "we" have to say on these sites wouldn't get so confused and would be able to think critically and logically and would not be constantly sidetracked by his incoherent rantings.
