That's just stoopid. Everyone knows that electricity didn't come to Manitoba until the late 1600's.

It was because that was where the bars were...
Sad I thought you were above that type of comment .

Nope. Nobody here is above that type of comment. Nobody. How sad is that?

5. Any Indian or person of Indian blood who shall be convicted of any crime punishable by imprisonment
in any Penitentiary or other place of confinement, shall, during such imprisonment, be excluded from
participating in the annuities, interest money, or rents payable to the Indian tribe, band or body, of which he
or she is a member; and whenever any Indian shall be convicted of any crime punishable by imprisonment
in a Penitentiary, or other place of confinement, the legal costs incurred in procuring such conviction, and
in carrying out the various sentences recorded, may be defrayed by the Superintendent General of Indian
Affairs, and paid out at any annuity or interests coming to such Indian, or to the band or tribe, as the case

Isn,t it ironic when you think of Clifford Olsen is collecting his pension . Just a thought .

That same evil bastard Harper has started the process to end the asinine practise of paying prisoners pension monies. Can you tell me how this relates to the thread?

Since you brought it up thought, should we ignore this treaty agreement and honour other treaty agreements? How do we pick and choose? Who get's to decide?

It is not a treaty it is the Indian Act totally different animal , but yes it needs to die . It was just to show how much control we have had over their lives since day one .

Would it not mean that "we" are the aboriginals and "them" the Canadian society, which is controlled and messed around by aboriginal treaty rights?
