supposedly they built this fake lake for 19.95.

As a parent and consumer in Canada I can assure you that they would hardly be able to find the childs wading pool for that price, never mind the chairs, toys and life jackets.


At least the conservatives are honest about what amount of dollars they spend. Liberals, well they have to hide actual costs and lie all the time it seems.

I'm, not a parent (yet) but this consumer was able to find not one, but TWO kiddie pools on Canadian Tire's website for under $20....

The issue is really that the "bureaucracy" has no damn common cents when it comes to spending.
Why didn't anyone other than a bureaucrat ever ask what has been the benefit of G8 and G20 meetings, and then use some common sense and let some other country host it?

Video conferencing is able to have these idiots talk to each other at a cost of under $250,000, but there would be no grandstanding by our vertically challenged finance minister, or General Harper with his short cut designer haircut!

Why lie? Why not say what it actually cost? Have you ever known anything to cost 19.95 after tax? That is obviously the before tax number AND obviously does not include all the extras.

Check "CANADIAN TIRE" they cost $16...even with taxes, that's still less than $20

Everyone knows taxes are included AFTER the retail price. Hardly anyone advertises the prices including taxes.

Where's the lie?

They said $19.95 was the cost of the lake....nowhere did it say that included the cost for toys and props.
