It is so great to see excerpts of the Liberal Convention currently being held in Lockport manitoba.
They are all excited to say goodbye to their former great leader Stephan Dion!
Paul Martin paying homage to Ignatief and the Liberals, all being united 100% as per his estimate.
Chretian their strangely not sitting beside his former closest friend Paul Martin!
Such Bullcrap, and everything is normal in politics!

The more the Liberals focus on Harper, the less they focus on their policies and platform. Wait a minute....they don't have any policies or an election platform. Maybe thats why they are in opposition!!

Tells me a whole lot about the character of an individual. Personally I believe a Canadian with sole citizenship should be allowed to run for Prime Minister.

Character is a prime consideration for me when choosing a Prime Minister. That, my friend, is so what!

Who is this Brian dude you refer to? Is he a contemporary figurehead or are we gonna keep diverting to history for our arguments.

I really don't know if he doe's as I don't like any of the people there, Sad to say they are so corrupt by the time they get in not worth being to concerned about . They do what they want and we live with the results.

The use of Brian is to show that all the parties have done the same crap and to listen to some on here it is like they haven't . As you know yes Character is important but your character is not determined by the country that you happened to have dual citizenship with.

It makes a strong statement in my opinion. But one would never know that by the comments from the peanut gallery on here.

This argument that "all parties do it" seems to raise its' head very frequently. It seems to intimate that current behaviour is acceptable because past behaviour excludes it.

I know that is not what is meant so why then say it? I believe that makes it a red herring and therefore of little value. It also weakens an argument to the point of being completely meaningless.

So why bring it up then???

What I say is no it is not right GOM but it is beyond yours and mine control now. The party members are second to the big money at a convention , hence all the back room deals . We are just numbers for vote money and that is what we really are . I have been too two conventions provincial liberals and conservatives they were both the same glad to have you here and glad you came here's what you want to vote for and who you want to vote for . O by the way if you want to pay next years dues they have a booth at the front of the hall . I don't have the magic solution but I find it hard to believe in any of the crap since .
