I'd love to see the NDP and their appointees get replaced.grumpy old man wrote:Manitoba Public Insurance said Wednesday the computer problems that it has been experiencing since last week are now solved, although people are still being asked to visit their Autopac agents in the evening.
“As a cautionary measure, during the peak usage hours of 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Manitoba’s 306 Autopac agents will have limited access to the Autopac On-Line (AOL) system,” stated a release issued by MPI Wednesday.
“Autopac agents throughout the province now have full access to Manitoba Public Insurance’s computer system every evening at 5:30, and on weekends. Customers, who patiently have waited to carry out their transactions, are encouraged to visit their local Autopac agent during this time.
“Customers will not be charged late fees or overdue interest, nor will policies be suspended, and no non-policy financing agreements will be cancelled (sic) due to the processing delay,” the release stated.
Seems despite their announcement the system is back up, they cannot provide the level of customer support they should be.
The people running this organization should be replaced.
