i have already sent the idea off to the manitoba pork council since one of their things they worry about is the environment.

plus it could make the farmers money instead of costing them money

No mention of costs though. To be useful to hog producers it must be comparable to regular binders or nobody will pay the premium required.

I wonder if the costs might be close to the same? Hard to say, but it could be a boon for manitoba because of the electricity that would be used to "cook" the stuff is hydro based and is already cheaper.
