http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/local/provinces-population-grows-by-16400-89252807.html

"Last year, the province had a net gain of 16,400 people, boosting its total to 1,228,984, according to statistics released said Thursday."

"It gained 11,950 people from outside the country, while its 15,839 births were the highest since 1995"

"However, Manitoba continued to lose people to other provinces last year. The net loss is estimated at 1,570."

After all those numbers tossed around.. does ANYONE have a clue how many more people we actually have? is it 16400?

The NET gain was 16,400. There were15,839 births, and 11,950 in-migrants as gains. The only loss reported were 1,570 out-migrants. So the math suggests that there were 9,819 deaths to balance the books that were not mentioned in the article.

It is certainly weird to read that MB is third in population growth, as I though it was considered stagnant. The large net-migration must be people coming back from AB, SK, BC.

The dead ones don't matter because they would have to also include the politicians considered as "brain dead"...GGF

Don't know but I hear the brain dead politicians keep asking the dead ones "did you leave yet?"...and...

And while still standing at "dead ones last known address"...and...

And I also hear the brain dead politicians are still standing there waiting for an answer...GGF
