The $6 million is the speculated cost for the $100 million bond issue. It has been reported that the bond issue has not been (or will not be) warmly received by the marketplace and will cost that much to see it fully subscribed.

Sooo any thoughts on the Thrashers showing up here, now that Phoenix has decided to have a tax payer funded team for the next year? It's already May... can they get it done in time if Atlanta does want to sell? I'm staring at my Moose renewal letter here...

Well, either way, I'll be watching hockey at MTS Centre in October. Either buying some Moose gear if they stay, or yet another Oilers jersey if NHL shows up. Cool

Another plan that does not look like its going to fly.
I think Atlanta's farm team was in Chicago. I don't know why Winnipeg would not leave the team in Chicago.
It would save a ton of money in travel costs.
Plus it would help bring players up to the big club from the farm in a timely manner.
