So let me get this straight, A Master Warrant Officeris more of a soldier than a master corporal who was in the military full time for 22 years? Is a Master Warrent officer more of a soldier than a Naval Lieutenant?

RANK DOES NOT MAKE A PERSON A BETTER SOLDIER.. A GENERAL IS NOT A BETTER SOLDIER THAN A PRIVATE.

You can ask any military brass, " are you a better soldier than joe private ".. Guess what the answer will be. It will be NO.

As far as your links to the law. Ask yourself when and in what context were these laws written? They were written for modern warfare and uniform wearing soldiers, not written for counter-insurgency actions where terrorists hide in and amongst the general population. If we were to look deeper into the law we then could call these people SPY's and execute them.

So the torture they claim to have endured, do you think they would prefer to be hanged?

1. The term “detainee” describes a potentially diverse range of persons. PW are generally handled in a
