You know. I thought I would be one of the first ones to buy Maple Leaf products again. But when going through the store I go to reach for one and I just cant seem to buy it. And now this report of mold on the walls and such of a plant that they knew would be inspected very closely. I just dont think I will ever buy maple leaf products again.

But then I remember too... so many companies food was recalled because of the Maple Leaf plant, that unless you look real close, you might never know you were eating stuff from Maple Leaf.

Fak.. I just dont know... you know?

I don't really eat processed meats, but this article refers to an inspection that was more than a year ago. Kinda old news. I doubt that they are any worse than other meat processors.

it refers to ongoing multiple inspections 1 month after they said .. hey guys.. no worries we can reopen we are clean now... mkay?

At the right temp mold can grow almost overnight though.

No different then most of these plants Iam sure , hell I but them never had a problem but did get sick on Schneiders once their ham was bad.
