Whenever Calgary is mentioned on this forum, it is almost always put into a ngative light by some posters. When I (or others who have actually LIVED in Calgary defend it), we are crucified, and told to go back to Alberta. It's an inferiority complex Winnipeg has always had. If anyone mentions good things about Calgary or defends the city, they open themselves up to personal attacks.
A case in poin would be LivingDead, who obviously cannot debate in a civil manner.

My experience is that Calgarians are fast becoming the most arrogant citizens of any city in Canada, even more than Vancouver and Toronto. And no, it's not just ex-Winnipeggers living in Calgary that have that mentality, it is most Calgarians originally from anywhere on Earth from any walk of life. That is my personal experience when talking to Calgarians. I've lived in Calgary, and I couldn't wait to get the hell outta there when I could. Believe me, I do my research before I state the findings.
