Nah, it evolved as it would have. Take a look around MrP. The people that use graffiti to express themselves don't have the brainpower to restrain themselves. The damage they do to the cityscape is moronic at best.

If they really want to demonstrate their talents they should find ways to do so that don't involve damaging public and private property. This is out of hand now and the authorities are rightfully stepping up enforcement.

How about handcuffs for graffitti artists? Make them pick up trash and sweep sidewalks.

It really got out of hand after the city shut it down. Whats wrong with having the whole park graffitied. (Although all the swears and durragatory terms are bad). The city has to take some accuntability - sure it got out of hand. But perhaps there should have been some forsight about what would happen when they cancelled a 3 month project after 2 days. And I'm pretty sure all the "young people" learned the F-word from all the "adults". They didn't create the word, they didn't create the prejudice. It was handed out to them Its a classic case of people growing up and being born again - as if they have never done anything wrong in their life. I fell bad for close minded people. It must be so horrible getting angry about everying.
