Maybe that asswipe Dorgan will lose his arrogant attitude on the Devils Lake diversion project...By PAUL TURENNE, SUN MEDIA
U.S. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton has become involved in a cross-border flooding dispute between Manitoba and North Dakota, according to a report out of the U.S.
Fargo radio station KFGO is reporting that Clinton agreed after speaking with Sen. Byron Dorgan to help resolve a dispute over a 48-km stretch of Manitoba road near the border. North Dakota Gov. John Hoeven has said the road acts like a dike and keeps floodwater inside his state, and has asked Manitoba officials to fix the problem.
The Pembina Water Resources District is suing Manitoba over the road.
