4 Ministers have resigned in Britains scandal over claiming false expenses.
How many other members of Parliament have been claiming false expenses? Apparently all??

Not all but I have very little faith in most of them they are in it for them and the party not us or the good of all . Hence the lower and lower turnout for our elections .

When it comes to politicians, I personally assume they're crooks until they prove otherwise. Power corrupts everyone. A saint won't make it in politics, it's just too dirty. In politics you have to work within a framework that not only allows but demands dirty tactics, and from there, it's extremely easy to become corrupt. You automatically become good at knowing what people are likely to figure out and what not.

I'm guessing this has been going on forever and that it was only because of luck that anyone found out. I'm sure that amongst politicians, this is all normal operational tactics.

This thread should be extended to "civil service" ??
Look at the Ontarion ehealth, whatever that means, giving $375 per hour in consulting fees! That sure seems excessive to me! You would think that their would be some reasonable limit to hourly fees. 78 hours billed and paid out $30,000.
Stupid statement from the health minister David Caplan conceding that reforms are necessary!
Ontario just started in business? Incredible offense against taxpayers!
