A teenage girl who laughed and joked about the crash that claimed the life of cab driver Antonio Lanzellotti last year is once again behind bars.

Winnipeg police said the 17-year-old removed her electronic ankle bracelet April 6. She was arrested shortly after 12:30 a.m. yesterday in the 700-block of Dufferin Avenue along with a 16-year-old girl who had also removed her ankle monitor.

Police had been searching for the younger girl since Thursday. Both girls face multiple charges and remain in custody.

She has not been charged with an offence serious enough to keep her in , She will walk on that alone .

I voted 'longer' only because this latest incident is the last straw I trust. For, if it isn't, we all might as well bend over and grab our ankles.

She should be dropped off at Phil Fontaine's house and he made to look after her.

Yes they all do that breach is not what it is made out to be . If the crown really get it together she might stay in if they can prove she is a flight risk , which she may well be . They have to show where she may run or go to , this also might be a tough sell as the judge will ask. Why she did not run when she had the chance .

I suspect that her mother fried her brain with booze before she was born, and this is the result.

As far as I'm concerned we must institutionalize these people. We cannot afford to not do so any longer. Just my opinion.

Some friends at MYC have told me she is the worst b1tch they have had in a while she is being transferred to a more secure area. As she is considered a flight risk from the area she was in .

The levels of anger out there amongst a certain demographic - and for what? Opportunity and support abound. Callous little c**t that she is, unfortunately, I doubt will ever reform her ways. She wants to live the fast life? She wants excitement? She wants to lash out at society?

Christ on a crutch. I could go on and on and on....this is why I no longer do advocacy....I just don't care anymore and that my friends, is very sad indeed.

I was happy to see Van Loan say that we'll probably need more prisons in the near future. That to me signals that Ottawa may be awakening to the realities of our bleeding-heart past.

Time to stop treating criminals as victims. If someone commits a crime, put them in jail. If they continue to commit crimes, keep them in jail.

If the opposition parties were truly onside with this, something would have been done by now. It seems that all I have heard is cheap talk at election time. When the election is over, everything goes back to status quo. Crying or Very sad
