So there is a report that 21 Taliban have been killed, and then you check Al Jazeera and they report that a family out picnicing , 7 children , 4 grandparents, 2 parents, and 8 friends of the family have all been killed.
Who do you believe??

its probably a combination.

they probably targetted some suspected militants, maybe some of the dead actually were taliban.

and some of the dead i'm sure were also innocent women or children or non-militants who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The Sudan government, this is the country whose president has been indicted for war crimes by the ICC, reports 10,000 dead in fighting, and the UN reports 300,000.
What are we supposed to do with those numbers?

The Sudan government doesn't count certain types of people as actual people...so their deaths don't count.
