That is what will happen , when new rules come into force to make sure Bernie Madoff et al doesn't happen again.

Too many crooks, too easy to beat any system!
Very interesting to hear that Bernie Madoff was reported to the SEC many years ago, and they refused to investigate the claims that his results were impossible and should be investigated.
There will be 10 years of lawsuits over this one mess.
Nice to see that this $64 Billion is a record! I wonder who else will be sent to jail? madoff claims that he alone did this!
Yeah sure!! Why don't I believe him?

Should have happened years ago this is the reason I never agreed with Tman about less rules . There is always someone to abuse it .

Yes it has the system down there beat to hell, we will take a hit but nearly as bad . Mind you we are not spending how much on trying to change the world , to our way of thinking .

madoff attornies have decided to appeal the judges revocation of his bail...

yeah thats nice.. guy pleads guilty.. looking at some serious jail time.. but he should get to stay out just because the judge has not sentenced the asshat yet... how about just sentenced him? 6 months in jail for every billion dollars...and he gets to take the 6 months off for every billion that gets returned to his victims.. I wonder how quickly the moeny would be found then?
