Ohh, when I saw the title of the thread, I thought there was a by-law about being stupid. If that was the case, they certainly haven't been enforcing it.

but the thing about stupid laws is that they all came into being because someone was a jackass that failed to use common sense in the first place and the only way the law makers could deal with the jackass is to make what he/she was doing, illegal.

There used to be one here in Winnipeg that forbid a driver from exiting his vehicle on the drivers side into traffice (originally written as exiting his carriage on the street-side where horses are passing). This was still in the by-laws in the early '90s when I was in University.
