Don Pearson, Stuart Olson president and chief operating officer, said
the subcontractor hired to erect the steel framework for the roof -- he
didn't name the firm -- was supposed to start the work in June of last
year and be done by March of this year.


Instead, it started three or four months late, and won't be finished until the end of this month, Pearson said.


April, May, June, July... thats four months.. you know.. the FOUR MONTHS LATE that they started

Because as with EVERY story in the FW and Sun, the trolls outnumber the decent commentors. I'm tired of reading ignorant and uneducated comments. I for one could care less if they removed the comments sections from both sites for good.

I drove out yesterday morning to the U of M, after an absence of about 35 years, and WOW! is what I felt when looking at that massive structure.

The trees have grown and there are so many new buildings out there and also students wandering about at 7:30 in the morning.

I drove by this morning. The state of that construction leaves no doubt in my mind that it could never have been ready this season. Why the Bombers ever went down that path is beyond me.
