Screw the park. Let's make into a mud filled sinkhole. Then is can be an appropriate monument to his kids.

I always bring my boys to Monster Jam at the arena. But it kinda sucks inside an arena. It would be way better outside.

ANOTHER IZZY project? He already got his Monument across the street. How about a Park to honor Buhler? Or to honor Duff Roblin, or any number of famous Winnipeggers

Duff Roblin park already exists.. (or at least existed?? ) near the north end of the floodway.

I am actually surprised that they aren't grabbing it for PARKING for the museum.

now you are seeing one of the reasons ANY hotel developer would be salivating over that spot.
20K kids per year.
baseball teams and those coming to see a game..
and a massive parkade that will be busy every day of the year. MORE so on evenings and weekends
just think of the money that can be made.

So, a park at the Forks, right next to a....national park at the Forks, and more park space along the riverbank in honour of former Mayor Steve Juba and a short walk to another park in honour of another former mayor, Bonnycastle. Can't never have too much park space can you???
I guess the thought is to create parkspace so they can continue to overdevelop the Forks.

How about they build a 4 story multi level automated vehicle parking complex with a park on the roof top and a snow board hill off to one side? Put a hot dog. hot chocolate stand up top. Kids can slide down in the winter and in the summer they can make a couple of water slides down the hill and into a splash pad/shallow pool at the base of the hill. Proceeds from the parking can pay the operating costs for the snowboard/water slide park. Damn, i'm gonna draw it up on solid works. I'll post my idea in a few weeks.
