I love watching all the $19.99 or $9.99 specials being advertised, because these plastic utensils usually look like they are worth about $3-$6 to me.

Hard boiled egg plastic cup maker, buy six for $14.95 and we'll send you a 2nd set free, just pay separate shipping and handling!

Ronco- 50 knives for 3 payments of $13.99 and get a 2nd set free, just pay separate shipping and handling

My wife found a "Graty" cheese grater at the dollar store...when they were peddling it along with the crap-chop tv ad, that was the only part of that deal she wanted to try, or thought was "neat".

So, when we found one at the dollar store, sure, why not, give it a try for a buck and no shipping and handling. She used it last night. It went in the trash within seconds.

Cheap POS, but what would you expect from the dollar store. Glad she listened and didn't order it off the TV....Jebus!

I guess I could have saved that dollar for coffee or something instead. lol

I've bought a few of the "As Seen On TV" items...though I never order by calling in to the infomercial.

You can get the same deal by logging in to their website and ordering direct...or going to one of the stores carrying the merchandise.

Some of it has been real junk...but most of it has at least been useful.

When I was in Minneapolis I bought Eggies and it works quite well. Hard boiled eggs and no peeling the shell!

RE: shipping and handling. I understand that these guys make money on this part...the selling price is gravy.

I would order the eggies, but my wife wouldn't use it because I would be infringinging on her territory! lol

10 years ago I ordered in a set of those fantastic knives, guaranteed for life and gave the 2nd set, pay only separate shipping and handling for my daughter.

My daughter loved the set (free), and my wife wouldn't speak to me! A bonus! lol

Today the knives are 1/2 of the $39.95 I paid.

The only use that kept my GOOD WIFE happy, was me cutting down 3 evergreen trees from our yard.

That knife (stored in the garage) cut right through the 1 1/2" trees!

Google RONCO and tell them rosencrentz sent you!
