I saw him at the Walker in 2002. Fantastic show and musicians.
Lost in the magnitude of Prince's glow is the fact that he is an extremely good guitar player. If he wasn't "Prince", he would still be a regarded as a genius for his guitar work alone.

Agreed completely.
Starting at the 3:28 mark.
Prince is probably the most under rated guitarist of all time.

A lot of fun and more encores than any show in recent memory. Around 2.5 hours, started 30 minutes late. Crowd had a good time. Ran into Howard Mandshein and he said it was the "...greatest ever. Ever."
The show had a bunch of funky cover material including "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough" by Michael Jackson.
I would describe the set list as being unpredictable, full of medleys of several songs. Some of the encores weren't all that interesting to me, but Prince and his band gave it their all, no doubt about it.
Overall, I'm glad I went.

I have not been to a concert in a long long time where the house lights came on and yet mostly everyone stayed and they came out again.
It was a great concert, and I loved his commet, real musicians making real music!

I was impressed that he wore high heels (not really all that high) and still managed to get around fine!
I also think I'm in love with one of his band mates, Andy Allo. Here she is backstage in Winnipeg.
