okay.. long odd story.. not sure if I have posted any of this before.
Starting a few weeks ago, often when I would make a long distance phone call I would get silence for about 30 seconds followed by a busy signal.
This would happen a couple times in a row before I would finally get through.. and my callee would say.. nope.. not on the phone at all.
Then starting on Nov.3. I tried calling long distance and got a
CLICK!!! followed by a ring followed by the person at extension 236 is unavailable.. WTF? so I tried two more times and nothing...so I called MTS to say.. umm what the hell??
And the tech says... well thats because your long distance aint with us.
WTF? how and when did that happen? tech says.. dont know.. but if you want back with us, I'll patch you to sales.
sure.. so I get patched to sales and they set me back up with MTS but cant tell me when it switched, I would have to talk to billing for that... which I finally do today.
they figure Maybe August 23rd since thats my last long distance with MTS and that apparently I was with "allstream long distance" a company out of Ontario.. ( not a MTS subsidiary)...
But I have received NO bill from these people EVER. Now today... my wife just got a call from Telehop which is some sort of other home phone and internet service out of Ontario saying... PAY US!!!.... it was automated so no real information. I have been on hold in the queue now for 20 minutes.. trying to find out
Who the frick are these people now?
