when we did press conferences for WiseUpWinnipeg we would get:



- a reporter and camera person from CKY

- a reporter from Global who also served as the camera person

- A reporter and camera person from CBC TV, a reporter and audio person from CBC radio 1, a reporter and audio person from french radio 2. And they all came separately in new white vans. And they were always in a hurry to be somewhere else.



I'm surprised their competition (operating in the real world of ad revenue) didn't press this inequity years ago. Look for the media playing field to be levelled soon by the Conservatives.

It seems to me that I read many uears ago that the CBC would have many crews , radio, TV, French and English show up, because they don't share ! They each work off their own budgets, which is understandable, and I bet with strong unions, have to have many people to do what 1 camera man and 1 reporter get done , when budgetary restraints make it "keep it simple, and keep it cheap"!

Here's a 13 minute video from Ezra Levant that is well worth watching.

He goes to the CBC building to attempt to see the prez as he's been unsuccessful in getting an interview with him... LOL...and nobody will see him.

He eventually leaves....but this vid shows what about 20 top execs did in that 10 0r 15 minutes.

OTTAWA – They may be a government institution, but minutes from a CBC board meeting show the state broadcaster feels it is entitled to play by its own rules.



A section of the minutes have been deleted from the released documents, claiming that the information removed is considered “advice or recommendations developed by or for a government institution.”



The above statement is the typical bureaucratic problem, found in many institutions. Our Conservative government is especially guilty!

The CBC has been fighting freedom of information requests for some time now! Yesterday some of the information requests were turned over, and guess how many automobiles they own?



728- Does that seem too low an amount.

I wonder if the other requests, how much money spent on parties, etc will ever get out?
