Put the year (election and etc) behind us

Guys and girls- I'd like to meet you. Sometimes we throw it out there and create some literary contraversay however I'd like to bring it all together to a kind of climax. It may take some beer and ribs. That's what I'm offering. All Sandboxian's are welcome to come and I hope you do so - as Freeman says - to solve the worlds ills. I've met a few of you and I'd like to see you again and all the others - such as JTF, Freeman and Rosie. It's been fun and engaging reading the posts over the years however I'd like to add some faces to the mix and get together this coming Saturday! My place is on the Red River 10 minutes south of the Perimeter and I'm going to have a bonfire on the bank (my back yard) from 2pm to whenever. That accomadates the likes of Rosie who must be in bed by 8pm. Post your interest here so I know how many pounds of ribs to BBQ (and how many beer to ice).

Sorry, MCAC mens soccer semi finals on Saturday. Got to support #3 son coach his team on their way to the final.

Jondo, I have BOTH a Bomber game AND a Jets game Saturday else I'd be there as you know I like a free meal. Is there a way to reschedule with a little more notice?

Geez I should have thought about that (Bombers and Jets). Yeah no worries we can do it anytime - I was just thinking the sooner the better - given that it's getting colder by the day. I'll have a look at the long-term forecast and hope that NEXT Saturday is +10c.

Well of course - in fact I should have named you. So if next Saturday works - maybe you'll be back from Cal.

We don't get back till late on October 30th...
