I was under the impression that both Hockey Night in Canada and TSN would be carrying some Jets games.

Is this still the case or do we have to pay to see them via Bell satellite, Shaw or MTS?

I just hope they show some games on ESPN America... It's costing me more than season's tickets...

I believe TSN/CBC are showing 21 games "nationally" and will be available to everyone.

The remainder of the games will be carried by TSN/Jets for free on Bell, and free until December on Shaw, with a $9.95 monthly charge thereafter (I guess to April?).

Some people on hfboards.com (okay, one guy) is bitching about the price of $10 a month, mostly because other markets get it for free.

Wow.

Considering I was paying $10 pay per view for Sens games some time back, $10 a month as a freakin' steal. Even though I have season tickets, MTS can basically take a blank cheque from me for the Jets channel.

Shaw has already placed the Jets pre-season opener on their schedule. Columbus is here on Tuesday and it is on channel 304 with a half hour pre-game show.

I'll be there but will also record it. For posterity.

Good lord the excitement is palpable...

And yeah, Grumpy... it feels more real than it ever has that the Jets are back, but I'm not sure the enormity of it will hit me until my first game (Sept 28th!)
