Maybe Sunday shopping laws made it too confusing. I know of several times I was going to go to Wal Mart to find that they were closed because it was Sunday Morning.

JTF, probably because a large percentage of recent immigrants work shift work. Walmart being open 24 hours is/was great for people who don't work the typicall 9 to 5 which is becoming more and more common. I've gone there more than once after getting off work on the way home.

I avoid Walmart at all costs. I hate that place...for obvious reasons. LOL

A friend mine works for the north store and she said it has to do with the supercentre construction. The 24 hour thing may be put back into place after the New Year and the new store is open.
