City of Winnipeg continued
Severe thunderstorms in Southern Manitoba today.
This is an alert to the potential development of severe thunderstorms with large hail and damaging winds.
Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements. If threatening weather approaches take immediate safety precautions.
Thunderstorms are forming in a warm and unstable airmass across
Southern Manitoba this morning. These thunderstorms will likely persist
and strengthen as they move eastward throughout the day. Hail up to the
size of loonies and wind gusts to 100 km/h are likely with the severe
thunderstorms.
