Can anyone give a recommendation for a good dentist who also direct bills blue cross? I'm wanting to change from my current dentist because it seems he just doesn't keep up with the times and has very old technique/professionalism.

Thanks

I recently moved from my old dentist on Academy to Cor-Dent on Corydon Avenue.

They're great. Patti Ling has done a couple of things for me..direct billing to Blue Cross (less 20%).

Garden Oaks Dental (Ron Rittberg or Cal Hawthorne).
Of the two, I'd recommend Cal, only because he'll be around longer (I think Ron is retiring soon).

My husband started going to Tuxedo Dental Group on Corydon last year after a host of dental issues required him to seek immediate treatment. Dr. Archer was fantastic, and my husband was thrilled with the way he was handled, the outcome, and the end result. I needed a cleaning, so went too, and was also pleased. They do bill direct, which my kids' paediatric dentist does not do. We give them two thumbs up.

I'll probably be needing one soon - my dentist graduated in 1960, so that would make him approx 72?

I don't actually see him much, usually when I go he is on vacation and I end up seeing his fill-in which is a retired guy that is older than my dentist!
