i had a good google hunt and could not find the depths or water charts for caddy lake, any one know how deep it is, I know its a shallow lake but how shallow?

Google "how deep is caddy lake" and cc's question in this forum comes up first. I couldn't find anything about depth. There was this one post about the fishing. Maybe pavolo knows about the fishing since he is a fisherman I believe...

Most lakes like Caddy aren't depth measured. I don't recall the depth being mentioned on the map I have of the area. Then again that doesn't surprise me as Caddy Lake isn't known as a "significant body of water"

true.. but I would lay money on the local resorts being able to answer the question without even thinking about it.

I'd be willing to bet that someone, somewhere, has done some radar penetration/scanning on the lake, or satellite depth measurements, or something to map out / measure the lake in detail (most likely the provincial gov't). It's a pretty popular lake with tourists, and therefore would likely get some attention for more in depth knowledge regarding it's configuration and biology.

Hi Dean,
Caddy Lake is not very deep... 20 to 25 Ft. We
have Northern Pike, Walleye, Black Crappie, Smallmouth Bass, Perch....

Great time out at Caddy, proximity to Falcon Beach and West Hawk is a plus. Site 47 is one of the best sites at Caddy Lake Provincial Campground if you go. Caught a jack and a perch from the canoe, a pickerel and another perch from the shore. Decent weather, a little rain shower, other than that lots of sun.
