Gord Steeves stands a good chance of replacing Teresa Oswald.
What cabinet position would he be best suited for?

Something high profile....like the sanitation department.

Then he could claim he'd "cleaned up the place" after he jumps to federal politics. lol!

He's a lawyer so I would think Justice. Kelvin has been pretty quiet as critic so we could use a fresh start.

I'm not sure what to think about steeves. He is an opportunist, abandoning his councillor role so soon after running. Apparently he is a conservative of convenience as well given his liberal history. By a show of hands, does anyone believe he'd be running as a liberal if the liberals had a chance to form the government?

But we have to get rid of selingers twits. Oswald being one of the major twits given her mishandling of the health portfolio.

can you imagine how much of an opportunist he would be if he got to sit as a councillor right up to (and passed if he loses) election day?

Would that not be totally awesome, having the civic taxpayer help pay for your provincial campaign?

/end sarcasm

Steeves and Hugh have been best friends since they were kids. If it weren't for that - Steeves would not likley be running as a PC. However it is entirely acceptable to abandon the Liberal party - hundreds of thousands of others have.

Good post.

I remember the day when Doer was being courted by the Conservatives. He believed that their cycle was up though and he knew the Liberals were just a blip...so he went Nipper.

Now there was a political opportunist.
