If this City has the capability go get NHL hockey, I'm quite sure it has the capability to put as much energy and effort to get us a decent LRT train transit system.

So you want the LRT to be a private investment? Because for the most part, that's what the NHL team is

I expect City Hall (regardless of who the mayor is) to put as much effort into the LRT as they did to get the NHL back.
