I have 3 or 4 pieces that are worth a few dollars, that I have in storage that I want to sell.
I think Kijjiji is only for really cheap stuff??

I have a 5' round 100 year old table with 11 leaves that opens to about 14' , that can seat 14 for a meal.
I am sure it is worth $6,000 to $9,000 , but Kijijijiji isn't the right place.
Any suggestions?

Imo, Kijiji is the best and possibly only place to sell something through in Winnipeg.

Definitely. It gets an unmatched amount of traffic.
Just know that you'll have a difficult time getting $6-9,000 for a table, through any medium, in Winnipeg.

This might be a long shot, but call Mark at the Furniture Wizards. He restores antique furniture. He might know someone that's looking for stuff like that.

Speaking of restoring furniture, I have a few pieces I'd like stained. These are not antiques. Just newish "distressed" furniture.

Has anyone ever tried other cities ? Any luck?
I can get the freight to calgary extremely reasonably, almost the same cost as local freight.

With eBAY peeps are buying and selling all kinds of stuff all over North America. A high end dining room set may well be quite the bargain/desirable even if someone has to ship it to Calgary or elsewhere.
