We're having a Halloween potluck today at the office. Some people have dressed up. The lunch room looks great with all the decorations.

I don't give out treats, so this is my only particiapation in Halloween.

What are you doing to celebrate Halloween this year?

Today is my hubby's birthday so we are heading out this evening for a few drinks, we are not dressing up but a few of our friends are.

My kids are in their costumes as they have a Halloween party today at school and they are super excited!

Sunday I will hand out treats and the hubby will take the kiddies out trick or treating!

GC, are you dressing up as a sexy nurse or as Elvira Mistress of the Dark, this year?

GC is Goth...so when she wears a pair of jeans and a t-shirt...she's dressing up as a "mom" Smile.

I purchased a box of chocolates on the way in to work and put them near the coffee machine and sent a note out to everyone.

My house is usually done up nice, but well..just no time at all. Maybe tonight and then tomorrow evening when I get back from the funeral.

I was thinking of going out dressed as Ross Eadie.

Happy Birthday GC. Hope you have a hundred more.

I'm dressing up as a guy giving out candy. Smile

I dont believe that has ever been proven on here. I know A on the other site was always making accusations of that based on the IP addresses he was looking at.

My offspring and ball and chain will be terrorizing neighbours for junk food. I'll be freezing in the doorway, handing out candy and making sure the pumpkins stay lit.

Child #1 will be trick or treating with a friend. I will be pulling the wagon for Child #2 and her friend.

Wagon contains extra bags for candy and a couple of thermoses of'cheer' for the other parents that are taking their kids out.

I was going to dress up as Vlad Tepes when I hand out candy tonight, but I've run short of stakes and mannequins...

We had about 50 kids show up. This is about 50% less kids than I anticipated for. We live in a densely kidified area, and where were they? Probably at the mall, doing pussy-wimp Hallowe'en in the warmth.

186 kids at my house.

CS... all the kids near your place got stuck at a traffic circle.

My wife said we only got around 50 kids this Halloween. Odd for our area. Then again, when the kid and I were out trick or treating, it seemed that almost every second house wasn't participating. Neutral

Kudos to all that get right into the thick of things and litter their lawns with decorations/pumpkins/lights etc. It's great to see people get so into the spirit of things.

I ran out of candy and had to shut it down at 7:30. We had more kids this year then we did last year.

I heard Rosy got his head stuck in dresser drawer again, and had to use large amounts of cooking oil and margarine just to get it unstuck. I also heard he plans to do it again because he thinks it's so much fun!

so what was the best costume you had come by?

Mine is a toss up between a full size care bear with a head about 3 feet across and a little astronaut

had a completely insane number of ninjas this year... seriously they made up at least 10-20% of the trick or treaters.

thank god none of these ones came by my house
