Well the match has been set. The Saskatchewan Roughriders will meet the Montreal Alouettes in the 2009 Grey Cup Game in Calgary. The Riders held on for a 27-17 win in front of a capacity crowd in Regina, while the Alouette trounced the BC Lions 56-18 in Montreal.


WHo will win? It should be a good game, and having the match in calgary should assure the Riders home field advantage!

I'm guessing Montreal will win but I will be rooting for Saskatchewan! They have the greatest fans in the CFL.

I want The riders to win, but I think Montreal will win.

I just hope there is enough money left for the bombers to get a decent QB.

Would anyone know where to get cheap Roughrider merchandise? My friend is from Saskatchewan and I was going to get him something. Only seen items at Jersey City or River City sports, and they tend to be a bit pricey.

I recall seeing Sport Check having some merchandise a time ago. How about Wal-Mart or Zellers?

Is everyone planning on watching the game? I usually do a big Sunday dinner but I decided to do finger foods this Sunday. I am making nachos, wings, veggies and dip and a batch of 5 alarm chili.

Now that Winnipeg has the official longest drought without a Grey Cup, we will officialy become the laughing stock of the CFL, which is why we need to win the title next year. And for this, KICK KELLY'S ASS OUT THE DOOR!

The Bombers would never do that, because it would make too much sense. This isn't the 80's when going into Winnipeg Stadium made teams tremble in their boots.

People people people... I am afraid you are not listening

The bombers will win the first season "officially" under new management. Everything for the last two years has been a farce and it will continue that way until at a minimum next fall since Asper "got a year extension" Once he "officially" owns the team they will "magically" start doing things that make sense and will either win the cup that fall, or the year following once he has had time "re-organize"

I was right. Montreal won.

It is amazing how the number 13 played such an important role in Saskatchewan's loss. Could'nt have happened to a nicer bunch of banjo pickers.
