I quite like a very traditional fare: eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, hashbrowns... What are your fav's?

I love eggs, sausages, hashbrowns, toast and of course you need brown beans with breakfast! :-) And give me a breakfast joint that leaves a big old pot of coffee on my table...now that is what I call heaven!

I really enjoy eggs and always make them on weekends for myself and whoever might be awake at the time. During the week, I usually grab some kind of fruit, and grain bar (got to keep regular you know), but the weekends is time for indulgence.

Coffee, coffee and more coffee. I also really love bacon and sausages but I prefer turkey sausages.

Wow, this site has only been up for a few hours and we have our first controversy. Sorry Kelly, but turkey sausage just doesn't cut it. I'd settle for beef maybe, but turkey sausage just takes the debate too far.

I'm confused. I don't think anything was vicious and I don't understand the one liners thing?

Is it a joke or are you serious? I just don't want to make anyone upset, being new here.

Nah, inside jokes KellyH. I will try to remember newbies have not been exposed to my witty repartee. Just take everything I have to say with a grain of salt.

Bourbon. The breakfast of champions.

Or, on workdays, strong coffee. That's my morning routine.

Still like Irish coffee on the dock in the evening, and some nice Scotch in front of the fire . Breakfast only if I get up in time

Mmmm at the moment, I am enjoying a nice cup of Melitta Deluxe blend coffee with a dash of Amaretto Di'Saronno, alongside a couple of pieces of toast.

Tremendous Twelve at Perkins is the closest thing to a perfect breakfast I've found here.
3 eggs, 3 bacon, 3 sausage, 3 pancakes along with some hashbrowns and coffee.

I grew up in a large family though..and my dad was a MASTER CHEF when it came to breakfast stuff. He'd usually have 3 griddles and two frying pans going at once...eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and the toaster throwing toast out 4-slices at a time.

I can't cook breakfast for my small family now (3 of us), because I always make too much. A frying pan just doesn't look right with only 1 or 2 eggs in it...I usually fill it with 8-10 eggs...and forget a spatula to flip them...I do the "egg toss" and flip them without breaking the yolk.

Drives my wife nuts when I start cooking breakfast...cause we're usually eating it for lunch and dinner too Wink.
