Southwest Rapid Transit Corridor Project – Stage 1
Two open houses are planned for the public:

$138,000,000 for the 1st 2 miles sounds pretty chep to me! How many miles would Winnipeg need to make a difference? I would guess around 50? So what are we up to at 50x 138= $6.8 Billion? Hope they take chargex!
And the $6 million needed to time the lights to save that 15 minutes in time from The Bay to the U of M?
You have to love the complete lack of any common sense in spending our money!
Cost/ Benefit studies,continues to be an elusive part of governmental thinking.
