So I'm back from my date with GOM .
Pretty good place, nice atmosphere...decent food.
I was a bit taken aback by the portion of potato salad though. Seemed like just a couple of bites when looking at it. But after my pulled-pork sandwich and side bowl of mac&cheese (which has meat mixed in) I was quite full.
Other than portions seeming a bit small (after that WagonWheel meetup...all portions are small
) it seems like a very nice place. I'll look forward to trying it again in the future.

If all I got was a bowl of KD...I'd probably be disappointed...but this was more "homemade" style. With some meat mixed in. So I'd say it's certainly not unreasonable.
The cost seemed a bit high for the portion received though. I could've put the whole bowl in my mouth at once and swallowed it if it wasn't so damn hot!!!

Did you order the large mac and chesse? $3 for a mouthful seems pretty high for any food! Even a $30 steak I get more than 10 mouthfuls!

Didn't order any size...just said "and I'm told I'm supposed to try the mac & cheese while I'm here"...so whatever size that orders.

You got the small, basically like a cup of soup. The large is like a small bowl of soup. Anyway, it's $2 vs. $3. As far as side dishes go, seems pretty reasonable to me.
The best deals seem to be the two-meat combos $17 or the Lovey's Mixer $33 to feed 2-3 (we fed 4ish) or Voyageur Platter $66 to feed 4-5 (I bet this could feed a whole bunch more).
