Well I switched my avatar to something more Winnipeg-friendly today. What better image to change it to than the greatest hockey team ever, IMHO. There's not much to do during -30C nights in Winnipeg except maybe snuggle up with a loved one, and watch some TV.
When we had the Jets, the community embraced them. they brought us together night after night in winter for 24 years. It brought a tear to my eye when I heard a group of businessmen from Arizona took them from us. Maybe someday the NHL will return to Winnipeg, but if you were born before 1987 or so, you can't help but feel something has been missing in the city for the last decade.
Bring back the Jets. Who needs another development at the forks anyway? Go Jets Go!!! :checking:
