What is wrong with some people? Do people really sign up with different identities? What on earth for? This is all getting really childish. People who come here for the sole purpose of stirring up trouble really need to grow up. I think people have too much time on their hands and need to find something else to do.

Wow. I have taken GOM's earlier advice and pressed the foe button; now I don't have to read what the trolls say anymore when I'm logged in.

I still feel like several members of NW are behind this garbage. But like GOM also said earlier, don't feed the trolls. It makes myself and other people who have taken the bait look gullible, not to mention it gives this forum a bad image and that isn't what we want when just starting out and trying to attract new members.

Same here Freeman...I'm here to discuss some issues that I find interesting...and maybe make some friends who I can have some educated discussions with.
My only concern with those childish idiots...is that they will scare away the intelligent people...or prevent potential good members from joining.
There is a difference between stating an opinion about a subject, and being heated or even becoming slightly "personal" in a debate. But the courtesy of a true debate/discussion forum should never become direct name calling and especially not towards the facillitators who are providing the service.
Now, when it comes to slander or libel (which is what those false quotes have become)...it is beyond personal...it is a threat and grounds for legal action towards an individual...whether they are hiding behind an anonymous screenname or not.

That's just it. They hide behind their keyboard because they would not have the courage to talk that way directly to someone. When challenged these types of cowards typically turtle.

The other disappointing behaviour these kind of cowardly peeps exhibit is their displeasure when others seem to be succeeding.

I am a straight forward kinda girl...I would say whatever I type here to the persons face in a heartbeat. I pull no punches...I think I get that from my Dad. :-)
