As promised we have decided to follow a democratic process when making decisions about who to ban and when.

We have been extraordinarily patient with nickelback and his incredible disruptive behaviour. I can't imagine for the life of me why anyone would find his/her behaviour even remotely funny.

We want everyone to enjoy playing in our sandbox and the incessant posts makes that almost impossible.

Therefore I am suggesting we ban nickleback. You as members of this forum have an opportunity to make the decision. I will leave this poll up for 24 hours.

In the interim I will temporarily suspend nickelback's playing privileges in the sandbox until the vote is tabulated.

I'm truly sorry we were so pushed to take this action. I invite all members to discuss this action.

Unfortunately GOM, this forum's philosophy of conduct is being tested. I had a feeling this would happen. I can't prove anything, but I do have this gut feeling that someone from NW is the cause just to prove some point of their. Again, I cannot prove this as it is only an estimation.You try and create a more welcoming environment, and that is when the douchbags come out to play.

Oh, and for the record, when I stated on another thread that I was going to "stir the pot" on NW, what I did was ask the question if any of the mods were responsible for being Nickleback and shooting their mouths off. Yes, I am such a troublemaker :twisted:

PS, I'm starting to wonder if Nickleback=Zkwister from NW?

No one has been banned. Theres a vote on the subject. and its not "people" its one person. And its not because of a political view or their questioning of the moderators, its because of totally disruptive posts, which say nothing most of the time and the rest of the time are intended to inflame or disrupt. Thats only my opinion, and I hope others express theirs.

I would talk to Nickelback first. Do you know if in fact he was not provided clear and concise communication on the subject? I'll clarify: TWICE he was PM'd and advised.

Second I would tell us why you want him banned. I honestly don't know, is it because he's not funny? Is it because he posted two polls by mistake? Or are you censoring his views because he questioned where the money was going? Ummm, my post spells it out clearly and concisely.

We'll never get off the ground with posters like NB in the sandbox, I say ban him.
And on another note I agree with Kelly and FreeThinker, this is a seperate entity from NW, this is the Sandbox.......lets concentrate on that and leave the past behind. We're not being very welcoming to newbies by dragging up things from NW that they know nothing about.
