Like in Star Trek where the doctor often threatened or did relieve the captain of his power if he was "unbalanced" do we have that power in Canada?
As Canadians we dont actually elect our leader so do we actually have the power to remove him from his post? Is that something the Governor General is supposed to look out for?
Should we even allow a leader of a political party to be a leader if he is mentally unfit due to some disease?
Iggie for instance seems to be saying a fair bit of stuff that is at odds with reality and history. He is getting up in his age at 64 perhaps dementia or Alzheimers or something is sitting in. He did spend a fair bit of time in the UK in the 90s so Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy is a very distinct possibility.
He does "descend" from Russian Royalty and its not like Russian Royalty was known as a stable bunch of people. Perhaps he has some form of hereditary disease that can be put in check with some pills or something?
Regardless the question remains. IF a leader of a political party (or more especially a political party that has the possibility of becoming the dominant party) has some form of mental disease or illness which CAN NOT be controlled should that person be allowed to lead?
