Incidentally, we still suffer from the effects of the amalgmation today.



But back to chicken...I guess it's more impressive to have a business in "Tuxedo" rather than "Winnipeg".

I knew about the other places. I just wasn't aware that Tuxedo was a stand-alone community at one point. When people from here rattle off all of the places that "were" before amalgamation, they always leave that one off. Same issues in Toronto and Vancouver with mega-city/metro-city shite.

One of the things that amused me re: the city smushing was that our property is registered as being part of the Parish of St. Boniface. I guess at some point in the dark ages, River Heights was St. B.

Nope. However they said lunch was not as busy as dinner. They also said they are "working" on another location in St. Vital.
