This is a link to the Sun home page. Half-way down on the right side is a poll on the City releasing the amber report immediately - or not. Please vote responsibly

I'd also like to see them publish the names of the people that brought this red light camera initiative forward to begin with...the names of the cops that promoted the hell out of the idea .... and the names of the people in the camera business.

Let's "out" some of these sons-of-bitches!!! Get their names out before the public for all to see.

Let's start with cop #1. Sgt Jon Butcher. He was the WPS Traffic Sgt who the City of Wpg and WPS appointed as their representative to negotiate the contract with ACS. There was another bidder than ACS. They submitted a bid that was so shockingly superior in every way - that when they lost to ACS - they considered suing the City - and told them so. The retired CEO of that losing multi-national massive company recently told us the details of this rail-road job and that will be news one day. After ACS was awarded what the Auditor later called a "sole-source contract" - due to the shenanigans set against the other bidder - Butcher then took early retirement from ACS and led a lobby group (funded by ACS) called STOP RED LIGHT RUNNING. The lobby was to convince Canadian establishment that Canada had a red-light running epidemic. Once that was complete - Butcher then took the position as head of ACS Canada - where he remains today. I've told him in exchanges that he will spend his next retirement repenting.

there is no looks suspicious at all.

It followed the guidelines to the EXACT LETTER. Had the guidelines said that he was to not be employed by them for 10 years.. I am sure he would have remained at the "non partisan" third party company for 10 years..

I think we all know that suspicion means that you suspect there was something going on. But... when you have adequate proof of something, its no longer suspicion.

Follow the dots - for that period - he led the lobby group described (later known to be funded by ACS).

Just because he didn't officially work for them doesn't mean that they didn't give him money.

I think Deank is saying the evidence very much proves the suspicions and so saying his behaviour is suspicious is superfluous.

At least that is how I interpret it what with my grade 2 reading comprehension skills...

Yes I know Dean gets it but his desciption may have caused others to think otherwise. But he is correct that the rules for followed - but let's not talk about who funded the lobby group - right?

"Man o man I'd like to see the financial records of ACS."

Should be a requirement for any City job over $1million in cost.
even more so for multi year contracts.
