Top 10 stolen vehicles in Canada
For the fourth straight year the Honda Civic is Canada's most stolen vehicle.

According to Statistics Canada, 108,172 vehicles were stolen in Canada in 2009, a drop of 15 per cent from 2008.

1, 2 and 6 are basically the same car. #5 is an offspring of the others.

I noticed that there are no new car years on that list - is that because of the chips the new keys have? I have a new Ford and as I understand it - the punks can't steal/start it unless they have the key.

If you drive a standard , manual gear shift, which is not standard anymore your car won't be stolen, because the kids have no clue how to shift gears.
