Layton isn't the brightest bulb....plus he's a socialist and that would not be good for Canada. Where do you think he would get all the money he needs to provide even more social programs? FYI, I am 100% against national childcare.

a few reasons.
1) we are "an island of calm" ( Harpers Words ) because investment here can be more profitable.
2) Adding on $50 Billion in taxes to "big business" ( Laytons words ) will get dumped straight on to the people who buy from big business... namely me and you.
3) Insane Amount of money that Layton is promising to spend... What happened to our surplus is what we will be wondering.

I have no idea who to vote for. I know I can't vote for any left leaning parties and the PC party has swerved a bit to the left I think in hopes of getting a majority. For me the issue is where do the canidtaes stand on free speech. Do they support removing section13.1 of the Human rights act and severly curtailing the CHRC if not removing them completely. So far Harper's gov't has been quiet. So, I'm not sure what I'm going to do.
