For those of you that have come to know me you'll recognize a common refrain here...

If you are a timid winter driver please please please get the frick off the road. Man are old folks bad here. Maybe time to face the facts, time to give up the ghost.

If you MUST drive then please drive in the right hand lane. And learn how to park. This is not rocket surgery folks. The Safeway lot today was a joke. Cars parked every which way.

And wipe the Goddamn snow off your windows. Next car I see with snowed over windows will receive a tongue lashing from me that polite company will not want to hear.

/rant

No I'm not finished. Smarten the frick up people...

Highly unlikely as he has practice confusing grumpyness with nastiness

We don't need snow here, just some rain. Last Friday, the car in front of me almost went through the barriers of a detour, then on the way back onto the normal road, hit the side curb with both right tires, flinging the hubcaps into the air (I kept my distance the whole time :-) ) and pinching both tires. The guy didn't even stop, he kept on driving down the road, completely tilted towards the shoulder of the road. I didn't see how far he still went because I took an exit while he kept going straight.

Hey GOM...I avoided starting this topic all weekend...now I login and you've gone and started something.

Talk about STUPID drivers...and they don't even need cell phones!!!

I watched as a lady tried to turn from Main to Portage yesterday...of course she was going too fast...and didn't know how to handle driving in the snow...cause she just kept pushing on her brake while turning....yeah, that'll work. Slid right up over the median curb and into a light standard. She wasn't going that fast either...did NO damage to the light standard...but her car will be out of service for awhile. Bent her wheel over and shredded her axle.

Other morons all over the place...either too fast, or too slow. One guy went flying up McPhillips this morning...weaving in and out of traffic like a moron (and without using his signal)...driving in the diamond lane at about 80kph, till he runs up on a bus and whips back into traffic. When I caught up to him at Leila (and did so without being an idiot or speeding)...I rolled my window down...pointed at him and started laughing.

He didn't seem to happy...but he did point back (with a different finger). I guess he was trying to communicate somehow...since he obviously doesn't know how to use his turn signals.

I'm glad to see stupidity reins large in Winnipeg as well as south of the border!!!!!!!!!!! On my way to Fargo on Friday evening I encountered 6 accidents between the Alerus Centre in Grand Forks and about 10 kms passed the Columbia Mall. All of the accidents were on the north bound lanes so did not really affect our driving as far as stopping us. All of these accidents were due to poor driving conditions and drivers' speed. Looked like a bumper car derby on I29. One was so bad on a bridge that if there weren't fatalities, it would have been a miracle. So GOM Canadians are not the only impatient, stupid, careless, dangerous drivers in bad winter conditions. All I know is if there are icy conditions slow down, be careful and stay away from my bumper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cause I won't be too nice if you come too close.
And I agree, if you are too lazy to sweep the snow off your car then you shouldn't even be on the road and if you are, you should be held 100% accountable for any accident you cause.

This morning, the chick.. sorry, that is rude... the broad beside me in her car was applying makeup. I mean really applying and working hard at it. Eye crap, lip crap.... blush. She was going all out. Good grief lady, it is winter and you are this distracted????

I think people should drive appropriately for the conditions, but you must also remain focused on the freaking road!!!!

I was so mad I could barely text my friend or read my book as I drove.

Have you seen people READ while driving? Good lord!!! People really think they can multi-task. I guess they can....

- drive
- read
- drive
- read
- thump.... child is run over
- read
- drive
- smoke, read, drink and drive at the same time
- thump again
