WTF is aggressive driving?

I cant find anything on the MB site stipulating its "illegal" just obviously not reccommended. And when it gets down to it its teh officers word against the drivers in court.. AND... the officer has to show some sort of proof why what he observed is considered aggressive.

Sure seems like a lot of court overtime to me.

I don't believe in aggressive driving.

There's driving with a purpose...get from point A to point B in the most direct, expedient and efficient manner, and then there's GET OFF THE FRICKIN' ROAD!!!

thats kind of what I figured.

My co workers ticket from the city police says "imprudent driving"........is that the same as aggressive driving? Imprudent sounds as fishy as aggressive.

Reasonable and prudent speed

So...you're saying aggressive driving is lacking discretion?
Judgment is a matter of opinion though. Just because I drive 80kph in a 60kph and switch from lane to lane and honk at idiots poking along or in my way doesn't mean I lack judgment. It just means my judgment is different than others.
I can guarantee you where most people have problems handling a vehicle at 60kph, I would probably not have issues at 90kph...due to experience and practice alone.

When it comes to state legislation, the only opinion that matters is the one expressed by the traffic court justice.

"Aggressive Driving" is probably the catch-all phrase used for media relations.

Much easier to convey than quoting some paragraph number from the HTA.

Sounds like the cops throw it against the wall and hope some sticks...hope most plead out and don't challenge the charge.

It is for driving like an Idiot which Wpg has plenty of.

Have you seen that ad where my daughter is yelling at the old person who stopped at a stop sign, instead of rolling through the stop sign at 25 Km/hr, 20 miles per hour for JTF, and G.O.M.!
