a JOCK hockey player said sloppy seconds....HELLOOOOO....... thats one of the reasons people get into sports.. for the chicks... and now they are supposed to be fricken perfect gentlemen? Chillax Deank. If dude had made those comments privately then no prob. But dude expressly walked up to a reporter/cameraman, made ONLY those comments, then walked away.

I'm surprised you think making those comments in public is acceptable. I seriously doubt dude is a role model you want your children emulating. And if you are fine with it those that are not do not want their children looking up to that hockey "star".

I have taught them to feel vindicated by thier own accomplishments and not to use anyone else as a mirror.

All of us grow up with heroes, be they sports stars, public officials. We can use the term hero, or idol, or whatever. My heroes were John Wayne, Johnny Bauer and Gump Worsley, Leo Lewis, Kenny Ploen. They knew what impact their public persona had and they respected that. Doesn't mean that they never went out and got shitfaced, they just didn't do it in public. Avery is just a punk. Kick his ass to the curb.
